Happy holidays and welcome to the in-between week, where overeating seems to take precedence and comfort in all forms is key. That includes the daily dog walks, where wrapping up to feel cosy and yet still look semi-put together is an art form all of its own especially while in a self-induced chocolate coma.
You can see my curls drop throughout the photos in today’s post. The damp cold air attacked my hair giving me a lovely fluffy mop. It was the kind of day where the cold seems to seep into your bones and the best way to beat it was to pretend my jumper dress is just a jumper, gotta keep the midsection warm after all that Christmas food! The dusty rose coloured sweater dress is form fitting so it doesn’t look out of place utilised as a jumper. And did I mention how toasty warm I was?
My cropped flare black jeans work in adding a little shape and interest to the outfit and work well at showing off my new pride and joys, my big old worker boots with pearl detailing all along the lacing. These boots are insanely comfortable and actually have a rather large tread on them so I’m about two inches taller than usual which is always a bonus! Also wearing but not shown are a pair of tights under the jeans and some big fluffy socks to keep the toes toasty. Finally, my black wool coat over the top and I’m ready to walk off all my quality streets and turkey.
