Corduroy with pinks + reds

George ASDA pink faux sherling aviator jacket (similar), &Other Stories red jumper, Urban Outfitters cropped corduroy trousers, Topshop baker boy hat, Zara floral bag + Stradivarius pearl deatil boots (similar).

Mixing deep reds with light millennial pinks is a big old favourite in my books, its a colour combination I always come back too in my wardrobe. I love the contrast and how they seem to emphasise the others colour. I’m wearing an awful lot of layers as it was nippy outside when we shot this.

Let’s start at the top where once again I’m wearing a baker boy hat, this is from Topshop and a dream to wear, its wool material and lined inside for added warmth. I feel like all I go on about in winter is how much my clothes keep me warm but its basically what draws me back to certain items again and again. The colour combination of the nude and black also helps.

I’ve got on a & Other Stories very basic crew neck jumper that has an almost boucle effect on the knit, whatever material is it’s a good’un. Super soft and in a deep red that works wonderfully underneath my pale pink aviator jacket, this is from George at Asda and has been on high rotation throughout winter. The only thing that stops me wearing this jacket is the rain because I dread getting this dirty because how on earth will I wash this without ruining it???

Moving on from my first world problems, I’ve got a pair of black corduroy kick flare jeans from Urban Outfitters, they finish at mid-calf length and even though I love wearing them with these Stradivarius pearl detailed boots, I cannot wait for spring days where I can bust out the trainers with these. Anyone else dreaming of spring now?
