I honestly feel like an amazon gladiator in this outfit, but maybe that’s the wonder woman film influencing me or the gladiator sandals? I haven’t even seen the movie yet. I bought this dress on a whim, its at least one size too big but it was in the sale on asos and thought id try it on and I think the oversized nature of it makes me love this dress so much more than I would have in my proper sizing. Being oversized its got a much fuller skirt that swishes around a whole lot and also drops at the back giving a draped look that’s not technically suppose to be there but looks all casual and amazing. The saving grace to the oversized nature of this dress is that the straps are adjustable and can cinch everything in so the top fits perfectly and leaves the skirt portion all floaty. This dress is made of the softest cotton, its loose and in a creamy peach colour that brings together everything I want in a dress when its the height of summer. I know this is going to be a holiday staple for me, its so easy and comfortable to throw on and yet I’ve also worn this around town and to auditions. Its a versatile little thing. The only down side to me happily raving about this dress is I cannot for the life of me find it in this colour anywhere online but I have found it in the most gorgeous coral red
and in black
I’ve paired the dress with my gladiator sandals from a long time favourite brand Ancient Greek Sandals, so comfortable and flattering and although they tie up on the leg the leather ties are a rough leather and so they grip well and don’t come loose. Also the net-a-porter sales are on so have a cheeky look over there because they always have a few pairs that go into the sales!
I also picked up this little nude bag which you’ll be able to see in some of the pictures has a floral 3d design on one side and then its plain on the other. I switch it round sometimes to get a more simple bag. And for my jewellery, I have my hummingbird necklace and Cartier watch.
