Asda George pink aviator jacket, Marks & Spencers black cashmere jumper, Dr Denim light wash cropped flares, ASOS blue metallic boots (similar) + Zara 3d floral bag.
I’ve had a life-changing experience this past month and it’s pretty exceptional. I braved putting my cashmere on the hand wash setting on my washing machine and I came out of the whole experience a changed woman. Seriosuly life changing. I will never go back to washing them by hand again.
Because of this discovery, I’ve opened up my cashmere wardrobe to more use and so haven’t actually invested in any new cashmere items this year, usually its first on the list when the weather starts to turn. I’m saving time hand washing and money, have I mentioned how life changing it’s been? So here we are and I’ve got my trusty Marks and Spencer black crew neck on. A brand for me that I will always go back to for cashmere. It wears so well, lasting for years and a great entry level price point. It has been consistently on for a few weeks now and I’m just adding to every outfit going.
This outfit I was obviously going for comfort and warmth. So on went the pink aviator jacket from George at Asda, layering cashmere underneath this fully lined coat is a bloody marvellous combination of super warmth and will no doubt be pulled again once all the Manchester Christmas Markets open up and I’m outside for hours stuffing my face with all the food and Gluh wine!
Also, I’m wearing my cropped flares from Dr Denim that I need to remember to iron. I think it because they are denim that I always forget but this is such a thin and stretchy pair of jeans that those flared out ends need a bit of tidying up. These jeans are so comfortable and fit like a dream, they are out in black as well for the autumn season and I’m so tempted as this style of jeans is really up my street at the moment.
Lastly, I’m wearing a secretly warming item, my boots from ASOS. Sadly last season but they are ace, I’ll keep a lookout for a similar style but these are fleece lined and so rank high in my favourite boots for winter. And the blue metallic colour and the pointed toes add to my favouritism but really it’s the fleece lining that keeps me coming back for more.
